Three Things Thursday

TTT

I'm not a girly girl. I never have been, probably never will be. I'm not one of those girls that gets up and puts on makeup everyday. I've been known to throw a baseball cap over my mess of hair before running to the store with no makeup with jeans and a ratty sweatshirt. So I warn you, I'm not the best person to be handing out beauty advice/tips/product recommendations, but I'm going to take a stab at it nonetheless. Today's three things: 3 Beauty Products I Can't Live Without.

Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena Body Butter

bodybutter

I've got fairly dry skin, and it's even worse in the winter. I love, love, love the Body Butters from Bath & Body Works. They're thick and really moisturizing. And the Coconut Lime Verbena scent? I could inhale the stuff all day long and not get enough of it. I reminds me of the beach and summer (and while I hate summers around here, who doesn't love the beach and daydream of laying on the warm sand when it's 20 degrees and raining outside?)

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
greatlash

There are a ton of mascaras out there, some good, some not so good, but in my opinion it doesn't get much better than the classic Maybelline Great Lash mascara. This is the same stuff I wore in high school and I've yet to find a mascara that I like better. It's relatively cheap, yet does it's job and doesn't clump up your lashes like a lot of mascaras out there.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub
stives

This is another oldie, but goody. I have mild rosacea so my face gets dry, flaky and just plain yucky looking. While this scrub is too harsh for me personally to use daily, I use it twice a week to scrub off the flakes and leave my skin glowing again. It's gentle enough that it doesn't irritate my skin further (and for those without skin conditions, it could very well be used everyday) Best of all, it rinses easily and cleanly, not leaving behind a film like a lot of products I've tried.

*Disclaimer* I was not paid, given free products, or compensated in anyway for writing about these products. The companies mentioned do not know me, and did not ask me to write this post. (Though if they want to send a few samples my way, I wouldn't complain!) ;)

SOO agreed, I am very much not a girly girl either, but I really do like your product recommendations! Following from MBC-- http://www.luvsjurn3.blogspot.com

I do not spend as much time on these kinds of products as I should. (I knew I was in trouble when my mother sent me some skin care stuff in the mail and begged me to use it.)

I hope you get some freebies.
