Christie asked
Seven things you'll never do?
Wow, that's a tough one! I'd like to think that I'd try just about anything once but I guess there a few things I have no desire to do.
1. Eat Rocky Mountain Oysters. I like to try different foods, and might try these if I didn't know what they were, but I just don't think I'd be able to get past their origins!
2. Go skydiving/para-sailing/parachute jumping/bungee jumping. I have a paralyzing fear of bridges, steps, docks, anything that's not at ground level that I can see through (metal grate steps at motels? Better get me a first floor room or I'm sleepin' in the car!) So I don't think me floating through the air with nothing under my feet would be a good idea!
3. Get a piercing in a 'private' place. More power to those that have, but besides the idea of the pain that would be involved, I'm just a little too prudish to bare 'the goods' for some random person to do the piercing.
4. Live in New York City. When I was growing up, my plan was to live in New York City (or Chicago, or any other huge city) But since getting older and starting a family, I simply can't imagine raising kids in a big city like that. I'm one of those paranoid mommies and I live out in the country. I'd probably have daily heart attacks if I lived in a big city now!
5. Enjoy doing laundry. Seriously, is there anyone that likes to do laundry?
6. Regret my past. There are things in my past that I'm not exactly proud of, but everything that has happened has made me who I am today.
7. Stop loving my family. I may not like all of my extended family all of the time, but they're my family and I love them all.
Danielle asked
What is your most life changing experience?I'm not going to go into too much detail on this one, it's just not something I'm prepared to really talk about at length (here or in real life) but I think the thing that altered me the most, changed my life the most, was my parent's divorce and all that took place during that time. Divorce is difficult for everyone involved no matter what happens, but there were circumstances/events that happened during my parent's that made it even more difficult than most.
Mimi asked
Where on earth would you live if you could live anywhere? You know, 3 years ago, I would have immediately answered Alaska (aka home) but now I'm not so sure. Yes, I'd love to move back to Alaska one day, but I'd hate to be so far away from my extended family. If I could convince them all to move with me, I'd be there for sure!
Kelli asked
I know you only name your kiddos by their initials, but I'm curious if they are named after special people or did you just pick names that you liked?Let's see if I can answer this without confusing everyone! T, my daughter, has the same middle name as my mother. I had picked that out long before the first name was decided on. Her first name came from a movie N & I were watching when I was about 8 months pregnant.
P is actually his middle name. His first name is the same as N's (he is not a second, the middle name is different) Since they have the same first name we call P by his middle name. The P name is a quite famous name, but we didn't specifically decide on that name because of the famous person.
E...well, E has he same middle name as his dad and the first name I was somewhat tricked into. The famous P mentioned above has an equally famous brother E. N suggested the name, and I fell in love with it, not realizing at the time about the famous P & E. By the time I did realize it, I had already been calling E that for a while (in utero), and it didn't feel right to change it. So it stuck and N was thrilled.
(Hopefully that didn't confuse you too much, and I'm sure a lot of you now know what the boy's names are!)
Robyn asked
Have you ever been to Alaska?Yep! In fact, I lived there for a little over 5 years. I lived in Anchorage. After I moved my dad moved to Eagle River and then to Big Lake before moving to Oklahoma over this past summer. During the summer we spent most weekends fishing in Homer, Seward, Hope, Soldotna, Clam Gulch and elsewhere in the Kenai Peninsula.
Marci asked
What is your favorite hot drink?By far a cappuccino has to be my favorite. And if it's french vanilla, I've died and gone to heaven. I actually have a cappuccino maker at home, but sadly I have yet to perfect the art of making one that tastes half way decent. Maybe one day though!
Now, for the winner of the $10 Starbucks gift card!

Fun answers! I love that you answered my question...but I still have no idea what P and E are for:)
Wow! That is awesome that you once lived here in Alaska, it sounds like your weekends were spend in some of my stompin grounds.
I loved getting to know more about you.

Loved your answers. I thought you might say Alaska but I wanted to know if you had changed your mind yet:)
Rocky Mountain Oysters...who was the first person to see THOSE and decide they were food? Bizarre choice for a meal.
